In the early 2000's, the founders of MV Sports Memorabilia noticed a growing trend in the prices of sports memorabilia. Prices were skyrocketing and there was no end in sight. This caused many collectors with budgets to become more frugal about their collections. Some even stopped collecting all together! 

It was at this point when MV Sports Memorabilia was formed. The principal founder, Michael Morales, dreamt of starting up a company where its main priorities were its customers, rather than its profits. He wanted to provide all collectors the best, authentic sports memorabilia around, no matter what kind of budget each collector had.

In 2003, he met co-founder, Vilma Valdez, another experienced and avid collector and dealer. She, like Morales, had the same feelings about the industry and had the same dreams. This is when MV Sports Memorabilia began to take its roots. Not too much later, the company was born.

As mentioned before, MV Sports Memorabilia is a company in which its main goal is not its own profits, but rather providing authentic, high quality sports memorabilia to all collectors!

Because, the team here at MV Sports Memorabilia are collectors first, and businessmen second!

MV Sports Memorabilia has only been in business since 2004, but its founders have decades of experience in the industry. Its main founder, Michael Morales, started collecting autographs and memorabilia since the late 1980's and have been selling memorabilia since the late 1990's. Not until 2004 did he team up with Vilma Valdez, another avid and experience collector and dealer to create a company where only authentic sports memorabilia was offered at great prices.

Given the questions of authenticity in the sports memorabilia industry we have aligned ourselves with only the most trusted names in the business. ESPN has reported in the past that as much as 80% of the memorabilia on the market is fake.
